Fairisle lights is a a collection of christmas lights produced in collaboration with Dean Brown. Following a commision by Pageant boutique, we were inspired by our mutual love of traditional scandinavian knitting patterns, and Fairisle lights sees them gently subverted, laser cut into paper and combined with scientific glassware, lit from within by warm white LEDs.

Fairisle lights were installed and sold in Pageant over the christmas period. 25 designs were produced, each in an edition of 6. They were presented in our own custom-built structure; a 5’ tall, 10’ long test tube rack with built-in illumination, showcasing 50 lights.
